The Friends of McNabs Island Society awarded Waterfront Development our ‘Special Friend of the Island’ award at our 26th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, April 13 at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic on the Halifax Waterfront.

A Halifax coastal engineer says both the deterioration of the McNabs Island breakwater and rising sea levels will result in higher waves in McNabs Cove and, subsequently, shift Maugers Beach.
